Second Grade Exam Grade

Parents,

Regweb was opened this last week for use. I spent the weekend trying to upload the exam grades but couldn't. On Monday I will upload them as soon as the situation gets resolved. The students did amazing in the exam. RELAX! I will be contacting parents if there is any type of concern from my part regarding your child's exam grade ("aviso" notebook).

*Reminder:
Please make sure your child completes homework. I have noticed that a lot of my students come to class without homework done. You can sit with your child and learn what he or she is learning and doing in class.
My students are still little but it is not too soon to teach them about organization and responsibility. Since they can't read yet, parents are their guides at home in the studying process.

1st-2nd Grade Weekly

1st-2nd Grade Weekly January 20-24, 2014

First Grade Parents,

During this semester as it is customary the students will begin working independently in their exams and class assignments. Teacher will ALWAYS read the instructions in the exam and quiz and will give out clear instructions before an assignment. I will also be clarifying any doubts as usual. The students have to start being more independent. As a second grade teacher I have to mold them to the working habits of the grade and for what will be expected of them in Second Grade. Make sure to practice at home the concepts studied in class. Class assignments are for the classroom, incomplete assignments will not receive the complete points. Discipline in the classroom is a must and the classroom rules are there to be followed. Please review them at home. Constant class interruptions affect not only your child but the whole group. Feel free to contact me if you have any doubts or need any more information.

Have a great week!

Teacher Matias  :)
