First Grade Exam Review

Exam: March 26, 2014

Study the following concepts at home.

1- Special verbs: am, is, was, were, are
2- Write the contraction for the following words:

it is, you have, we have, they are, we are, that is, they have, he is, she is, you are

3- Re read and pay attention to details from the story "I'm a Caterpillar" and sequence on the Life Cycle of a Butterfly.

4- Comparative Endings er and est.

Second Grade Exam

Parents and Students,

Teacher has a muscle spasm on her neck and is not going to be able to go to school on Wednesday March 12, 2014. By doctor's recommendations I will be staying home resting. The exam will be postponed for Thursday March 13, 2014. I am very sure my students are more than prepared for it and I trust in their capability to do a great exam.

Second Grade Exam Review

Students must review the following concepts:

1- Spelling Words (Long Ee Sound)
2- High Frequency Words
3- re-read the story "Pearl and Wagner: Two Good friends", students will answer simple questions from the story. Please review Literary Elements worksheet from the story, it's in the notebook. (Sequence, characters, setting, author, etc.
4-Vocabulary Words
4- Author's Purpose (mention the three reasons an author writes a story), identify the author's purpose from three short stories.
